I go to the DMV and sure enough - tax hold. The DMV employee called the tax office and tried to work something out. Nope.
I drive all the way back home, go to the office, and ask why they didn't tell me. The lady responded with "Do you want your release or not?"
So, no, not pleased with New London Tax Office
Not the most helpful or courteous people I've dealt with...and that's saying something.
I called them to double check to see if I had any tax liability before I went to renew my registration and was told 'nope'.
