We called Yona Gregory's office to inquire about assistance with a small claims case. Being from NJ and having an in incident occur in Connecticut, we felt it was best to get advice from a Connecticut lawyer. Since her website clearly states, under their "Other Services" section, that they are "pleased to extend flat fee pricing to small claims matters", we thought they would be very helpful to us. However, when we called their office the secretary tell us "we only handle real cases". Really!?! Our case which was us going after someone that owed us $2000 for damage to our car and was going unpaid, sure seems like a real small claims case. And even if they didn't want to take this case, you would think their office would be a lot more professional than to say something like that to a potential client. I would obviously never consider going back to this lawyer for any type of representation, whether the case is "real" or not.

So be warned before you call their office. This lawyer obviously feels that they are above small claims cases even though they clearly advertise for them on their website and does not treat potential clients with any courtesy. A not welcoming feeling from this "professional" lawyer.
