Great station building , great view of the water and a staff that tries hard.
My daughter and I have used this station many times while traveling to NYC. I've found it to be very nice and the people in the ticket office are very helpful and pleasant.
Your at peace in the area of the train station
The New London Station is a nice area to be at, There is high times and low times so delays are a possibly, But during the high times it is a very nice time to train watch. This station is setup in a way that it is very easy to get the Block Island Express, The bus, and at the end of the historical area of New London, And something important to save your life, When you are on the middle platform and about to cross wait until the crossing bells stop. It is very dangerous to cross when the bells are ringing.
My ticket was prepaid for. But, train was delayed 40 mins. No Problem, I live in Connecticut! I enjoy being in this part of New London! I just LOVE the view. And watching the boats. It is foggy, but, when dealt lemons. I make plenty of LEMONADE!
