Great HVAC/R program. All the staff are friendly and very experienced.
I graduted in 1999 and I worked very hard to make Dean's List, Honor Roll and Alpha Beta Kappa Honor National Society. You get back what you put into your education no matter where you attend. Yes, there was difficult times and students but as a peer sometimes you need to hold people accountable for their behavior. I've worked several wonderful jobs since graduation. Also the follow up opportunities after gradutating is great. I love this school, my grandma graduated when this school was oringally the New London Business School and she went on to have a wonderful career also. Good Luck!!
I was a student who recently graduated from the Medical Assistant program at Ridley-Lowell Business and Technical Institute in New London. It was the best decision I ever made to return to school and take a short program to jump start my career that had been on hold for years. I have been a stay at home mom who wanted to focus on raising my children rather than further my career. Now that my children have grown I can focus on me and getting back to work.
Went here for IT. Not the best program but the teaching staff is awesome!
The Electrical program has 6 credits of Math for Electricians which made me nervous because I was terrible at math in High School. The classes are small enough to get a lot of instruction time and the teacher even tutored us after school whenever we needed extra help - it made the Trigonometry doable and I ended up on the honor roll! I love all the time we get to spend in the lab working on real projects in commercial, residential and industrial construction. This school put a lot of time into our education and cared whether we succeeded. I made a lot of friends which have now become connections and most importantly, got a job that I love.
With the help of Ridley- Lowell Business & Technical Institute and their great instructors I am now proud to get up every morning and go to a job I really enjoy.
